Binance Expands Monitoring Tag List, Impacted Tokens Drop Sharply

Following community feedback, Binance will modify its Monitoring Tag inclusion schedule to a monthly update cycle, starting March 4, 2025. New projects will now be added in the first week of each month, while the removal of Monitoring and Seed Tags will continue to be reviewed quarterly.

Additionally, Binance will extend the Monitoring Tag to more tokens, signaling increased scrutiny due to higher volatility and risks.

New Tokens Added to the Monitoring Tag List

The following 10 tokens will be added to Binance’s Monitoring Tag list on March 4, 2025:

  • Aergo (AERGO)
  • Alpaca Finance (ALPACA)
  • AirSwap (AST)
  • Badger DAO (BADGER)
  • BurgerCities (BURGER)
  • COMBO (COMBO)
  • NULS (NULS)
  • STP (STPT)
  • UniLend (UFT)
  • VIDT DAO (VIDT)

User Requirements for Trading Monitoring Tag Tokens

To trade tokens with the Monitoring Tag, users must:

  • Pass a quiz every 90 days on Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms.
  • Accept Binance’s Terms of Use, acknowledging the risks involved.
  • Be aware of risk warnings, which will be displayed on trading pages and the Markets Overview page.

With the latest additions to the Monitoring Tag list, traders are advised to assess risks carefully as price volatility remains high.
